Massena Central High School: About Us
The mission of Massena Central High School is to educate students to be responsible young adults who respect individual differences and who are committed to excellence. Graduates will possess the skills needed to become contributing members of our community and society. To accomplish this, Massena Central High School will promote self-esteem, a motivation to achieve and a sense of accountability. This shall be done by providing a comprehensive, integrated curriculum taught by a professional, qualified staff working in a nurturing, learning-centered and orderly environment.

High School Information
Hours
The instructional day is from 7:40 a.m. to 3:02 p.m. Buses unload at 7:15 a.m.  No student will be allowed beyond the lobby prior to 7:15 a.m.  Breakfast is served between 7:15 and 7:40 a.m.

Drop-offs
  - The best time to drop off students is at 7:25 a.m. All students being dropped off must arrive through the main doors of the building.

Tardy
- Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. are considered tardy and parents must sign them in at the office before they go to class.

Bus Transportation
Students in grades 9-12, living a distance of 1 1/2 miles or farther from the school, are provided school bus transportation to and from school. You are expected to be at the assigned pick-up point, by the side of the road, and ready to board the bus as soon as it arrives. The drivers are instructed not to stop unless you are ready.

Student's Cars/Motorcycles
Students with a valid drivers license may be eligible to drive to school and park on school grounds. Students need written permission of parents and possession of a parking permit, which may be obtained from the Student Affairs office. The cars/motorcycles are to be parked in the designated area of the parking lot. Students are to lock cars/motorcycles upon arrival at school and are not to use them for any reason during the school day, except for excused purposes and at dismissal time.
